All By Himself

We have discovered a fantastic way to keep Maxwell busy during dinner time. Usually he sits in his chair between the two of us and pinches arms until he gets more food in his mouth. This is a great way for him to feed himself, and he hasn't choked on any corn yet. We now know what Max will be eating at Thanksgiving!! (with bites of other things of course!)




A series of places Maxwell has gotten and things he can do all by himself. He's got crawling down pat, and he has become quite the climber in only a week and a half. He has even figured out that when you let go . . . . . . you fall. After a few major head whacks, he's decided to fall on his bum when its available. Its a much better plan if you ask me. Shawn brought up a good point today. Soon enough he'll not only be able to pull himself up onto the furniture, he'll be climbing up onto it as well. Then he'll crawl around on it and inevitably fall off. Its rough being a kid, especially when you've got so much to learn.



For those of you wondering if Max is sleeping any better, the answer is YES!!! All through the night most of time. With that advancement we've almost completely lost nap time though. I keep trying to get it back. We'll see if I'm successful. A full night of sleep is certainly a blessing however!
